Miss Gemma – Senior Portrait Photography – Glendale, CA

This weekend I had the opportunity to meet and photograph an amazing senior that’s heading off to college this year. She’s actually Coleman’s older sister and both of them were such a joy to photograph. I wish you the best in college Gemma!

Pierce College – Child Portrait Photography – West Hills, CA

This weekend I sent the boy off to the Toyota Grand Prix in Long Beach so the girl and I can “hang out”. It started with a Friday movie night and Cold Stone Ice Cream, then the nail salon on Saturday and a photo shoot at a local college campus. Then she had enough of mom and decided that she would like to hangout with her friends. Can’t believe it’s already starting at age 6!

Mr. Coleman | Child Portrait Photography | Hollywood, CA

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Coleman and photographing him at Griffith Park, with another photography friend. I had so much fun talking to him I almost forgot I was supposed to take pictures of him. He was trying to hold in his smile but I think we captured a few of them.

I had the entire scene planned out in my head, but as we know things don’t always turn out EXACTLY how we planned. So this is the only picture I was able to capture before Cam decided to run off and play. In his defense, he was tired was woken up from a nap when the Hubs picked him up from a friends house. Maybe I’ll try again next year with some other type of Valentines Day theme.

Water Play | Child Photography | West Hills

I’ve always wanted a few pictures of the kids playing in the rain with their umbrellas and adorable rain boots – but as most people know living in Southern California sometimes makes that difficult. Whenever rain is in the forecast here in LA the news is all over the “Storm Watch”, residents will often cancel a visit or reschedule their outings for another day, because nobody wants to get stuck on the 405 in the RAIN!

So a few days ago, we were expecting a big rain storm and it wasn’t all that bad. It rained most of the morning and all of the afternoon but miraculously stopped as it was time to pick up the kids. So by the time they got home the only thing left was the huge puddle in the backyard. So I had them put their rain boots on to play.
